From a Subscriber: You Can Read Substack on Your Kindle
Don't ask me how it works, but tell me if it doesn't.
A subscriber recently told me he found a service to make his Substack feed readable on his Kindle. Since he spends most of his professional life in front of computer screens, he found this modest change both convenient and easier on the eyes.
I am not connected in any way to this enterprise, I don’t even own a Kindle, but I trust the source and looked at the website and it seems straightforward enough. The service costs between free and $8 per month depending on use, much like Substack, and converts content from half a dozen other platforms as well, like Medium, beehiiv, TechCrunch, etc.
You can find it here https://www.readbetter.io
Again, I’m not getting anything out of this. I’m just a writer, not a developer, or a particularly good business person for that matter. This just looks like something that might make our reading lives easier.
Let me know. Thank you.
Will do. I don't do Kindle myself but friends who do. This looks helpful. Thank you, Ted
Hi Ted! Robbie here, the creator of the tool Readbetter. Thanks so much for featuring it in your newsletter!
I built this initially just for myself as I read a lot of newsletters and wanted a way to read them without the distractions of all my other mail. If anyone has questions or needs support with the setup - feel free to reach out to me directly at rb@readbetter.io
